Cattle Feed Making Machine

Cattle feed pellets are a compound feed. It is mainly composed of various raw materials such as cereals, oil crop seeds, soybean meal, feed, dried beet pulp, additives, vitamins, minerals, chemical preservatives and other necessary trace components. They are formulated according to the type of cattle. Cattle feed pellets are high energy and balanced proteins, vitamins and minerals. Therefore, different ingredients and nutritious cattle feed pellets are suitable for bulls, cows, heifers and buffaloes. The pellet feed can be well digested to improve the performance of the cattle.

Cattle Feed Manufacturing Process

Step 01: Raw Materials Reception and Cleaning Process
The first stage is to receive and clean the raw materials such as grains, beans, forage or fishmeal used to make pelleted feed.

Step 02: Feed Crushing Process
These materials are then fed into the hammer mill where it is ground into a size suitable for the production of feed pellets.

Step 03: Feed Mixing Process
The pulverized materials passes through a feed mixer, where different ingredients are added to the feed materials to ensure that the finished pellets contain all the nutrients needed.

Step 04: Feed Pelleting Process
The granulation stage is the most important stage in the feed production, because the feed powder is converted into pellets of the desired size and shape. Compared with the flat die pellet machine, the ring die feed pellet machine has a large production capacity.

Step 05: Feed Pellets Cooling Process
The feed pellets are produced at a temperature of 88 degrees Celsius and a humidity of 17-18%. For cooling, drying and storage, the humidity should be reduced to 10-12%. Therefore, the feed pellets are passed through a pellet cooler where they are cooled to near room temperature and dried to reduce moisture levels.

Step 06: Feed Crumbling Process
Sometimes animal feed will be crumbled after granulation. The crumbling, for example, is accomplished by pulverizing the pellets between the two rollers. The distance between the two rolls will make it possible to achieve the desired degree of crumbling.

Step 07: Feed Pellets Packaging
After the animal feed pellets are produced, the pellets are placed in a bag using a semi-automatic packaging machine, stored or transported to the end customer. A computer-controlled machine measures the amount of feed per bag and then pneumatically discharges it into a bag for packaging. The bag with the small ball will be transported to the machine by the conveyor belt and will automatically sew the top of the bag so that the bag can be transported.

Main cattle feed production machinery

  • Feed hammer mill, utilized for crushing the raw materials into feed powder.
  • Feed mixer also known as the feed mixing machine, adequately mixes the crushed materials to enhance the uniformity of the constituents.
  • Additionally known as feed pellet mill is the key piece of equipment in this production process. Our salesman will offer you the best recommendation based on your capacity requirements.
  • Feed pellet packaging and weighing machine for weighing the pellets and packing them uniformly.
  • Other machinery required might be such as a pellet cooler, pellet crumbler, grease adding machine.

Types of Feed Pellet Making Machine

Livestock feed pellets can be divided into two different types. You have a flat-die pellet machine, which is often cheaper to buy and ring die feed pellet machine which although more expensive, will result in long-term savings.

Flat die feed making machine does not mix or grind, but only process the powder into pellets. Although this is considered a more modest setting, it is still capable of producing pellets up to 1000 kg per hour, and mainly used in small feed production line.

Ring die feed pellet machine is usually used in feed production lines or feed plants. They consume less energy in the production of animal feed pellets and will therefore be a better long-term option, more suitable for large-scale needs. Steam is commonly used in large-scale feed production to increase the life expectancy of the equipment while also increasing productivity.

Advantages of the Cattle Feed Making Machine

Cost saving: As you know, animal foods are mostly made from waste, and raw materials are readily available. In order to make them suitable for animal consumption, the machine replaces human intervention and is working faster than humans. It also consumes less power.

Sizeable returns: People buy machines for two purposes. One is business-related and the other is for their own benefit. Anyway, you will benefit from it. The food industry is huge. You can’t meet the needs of the market. With a negligible investment, you can make a substantial profit.

Easy to use: In order to use this machine conveniently, one should not ask for a deep intellectual or professional degree. A person can operate this device with little or no expertise. When you buy this product form one company, their representatives will make you clear.
